Two years prior, when Deepika informed her friends that she and her family had combined rock salt, turmeric, clove, and cinnamon to create a toothpowder, their curiosity was piqued. Motivated by their enthusiasm, she chose to share her homemade mixture with her small community of individuals who shared similar interests. Equipped with a large mason jar, she brought her creation to the local farmers' market, where she volunteered every Sunday. Alongside organic vegetables, attendees also took home the toothpowder in containers they provided. In the subsequent days, Deepika was inundated with messages commending the toothpowder and received numerous inquiries about selling it, which she subsequently did. In the weeks that followed, she expanded her offerings to include homemade face wash powders made from rose and neem, thereby gradually building her collection of natural personal care products. Thus, Raw Beauty was established.
